San Diego Dream Restaurant | Leila
Last weekend, my friend and I visited a restaurant called Leila in San Diego. It truly felt like stepping into a real-life "One Thousand and One Nights" tale—the starry ceiling glowed softly, and the walls and decorations were full of Mediterranean charm. Every corner was beautifully designed, making it feel like we had traveled to another country the moment we walked in. I couldn’t stop taking pictures! This restaurant is incredibly popular and only accepts reservations. You need to book a month in advance, and slots fill up fast. We were lucky to get a table, and the place was packed with a lively atmosphere. We ordered a few dishes: ▪️ Salatim Platter: A sampler of various hummus, served with bread and naan. Some were delicious, others just okay. The portion was too big for two—we couldn’t even finish half😅. ▪️ Steak Kabob Shishlik: The beef skewers were tender and juicy, but there was only one skewer—I wish there were more! ▪️ Joojeh chicken: Chicken skewers made with breast meat, but they weren’t dry at all. They were super tender, and I really enjoyed them😋. ▪️ Knafeh Sundae: Pistachio ice cream to finish—sweet but not overwhelming, perfect~ If you’re with 3-4 people, the platter is worth trying. For two like us, it was too much, and we felt a bit wasteful😭. The skewers were delicious, though—I’d recommend ordering more! Overall, Leila is a restaurant worth experiencing. The ambiance is unique, and the food is quite good. If you love Mediterranean style or are looking for a special spot for a date or gathering, this is a great choice. Just remember to book ahead! #FoodExploration #SanDiegoRestaurant #MediterraneanFlavors #StarryDining #TravelDiary #FoodieLife #PhotoSpot
