From Los Angeles to San Diego: π Transportation: The simplest and most comfortable way is to take the train. Metrolink offers free rides for students on weekends, but there can be uncertainties like delays or cancellations. Therefore, as always, I chose Amtrak. You can book coach or business class on Amtrak; business class offers snacks and beverages βοΈ and more spacious seats. The total train journey is less than 3 hours. You can read a book, play with your phone (which you can charge), and enjoy the coastal views along the way ποΈ. No need to rush for a flight or drive, it's very relaxing. π¨ Accommodation: Previously stayed downtown (Dt), this time chose Mission Bay. The reason being there are many fun water activities, and it's conveniently close to both downtown and La Jolla, about a 10-minute drive.
