π¦ San Diego Zoo Safari Park β My Favorite Zoo! π¦π^_^
Itβs about a 40-minute drive from downtown San Diego. The park opens at 9:00 AM. Right after arriving, we hopped on the Africa Tram π β lines are shorter in the morning! This free safari-style ride takes you through vast, open plains where animals like giraffes π¦, rhinos π¦, antelopes π, and zebras π¦ roam freely. We loved it so much we rode it twice β once in the morning and again in the afternoon! We also took the Balloon Safari π for $22 per person β floating high above the park offered breathtaking views of the entire landscape ππ¦. One of the rarest highlights: this is one of only two places outside Australia where you can see platypuses! They swim quickly in dimly lit water habitats π¦π¨, so you have to watch closely!
