Santa Monica’s Hidden Gem — A Love at First Bite ❤️
Tucked away in Mar Vista’s historic market built in 1949, Beethoven Market is a charming new Italian eatery that stole my heart in just one visit 🏡🇮🇹 Though Mar Vista is a quieter part of Santa Monica, this place is buzzing (calling it “hidden” because it’s rarely mentioned online!). I had to book a week in advance for a Saturday brunch 🗓️ The vibe is minimalist Italian—simple, warm, and timeless. We sat on the patio and ordered: 🍋 Lemon Ricotta Pancakes 🍳 Crispy Polenta with mushrooms & poached egg 🥩 Steak & Eggs (the steak was a tad firm, but still good) 🍕 Zucchini Ricotta Pizza Everything except the steak was hug-level delicious—yes, I wanted to hug the restaurant 🤗❤️ Ingredients were fresh, and the flavors stood strong against LA’s well-known Italian giants. The best part? We over-ordered, and the bill was still just a little over $100 for two! Realistically, 2–3 items would be plenty. In a city filled with overpriced, underwhelming “pretty” meals, this spot feels like a gift—delicious, heartfelt, and fairly priced. No wonder it’s so hard to book—once you try it, you’ll be smitten too ✨ 📍 Beethoven Market 12904 Palms Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066 #LifeIsFlavorful #FoodInspo #LADining #LAEats#SantaMonicaEats #HiddenGemsLA #ItalianInLA #BrunchGoals
