Santa Monica🍣 Hidden Treasure Japanese Cuisine at Irori Sushi
A tatami-style Japanese restaurant where you take off your shoes upon entering 🎐 Sitting on the floor with bare feet gives a relaxed and comfortable feeling~ We ordered an omakase, with the miso black cod being a separate order, everything else was part of the set menu, including some small dishes and miso soup that weren’t captured in the photo. One portion is just 90💰 · We also ordered additional items: 🦐Amaebi sashimi - The shrimp was sweet and fresh, and the heads were fried for us 🦪Shigoku oysters - They had a slight fishy taste 💥Uni scallop - Absolutely delicious! 🐙Octopus carpaccio - This was so good too, with a hint of lemon freshness 🍋Yuzu halibut - A light flavor, also nice 🦀Soft shell crab - I always order this if it’s on the menu, love it 🍞Uni scramble toast - First time seeing this combination, but one bite and I was in love In the end, the total for two of us was over 360+, and we almost finished everything. Normally, 100 per person is more than enough. This place is in a plaza, which makes parking convenient 🅿️ and it’s great for dates or sister gatherings. #ImmersiveJapaneseCuisine #LosAngeles #LosAngelesFood #LosAngelesLife #LosAngelesJapaneseFood #JapaneseFoodExploration #SantaMonicaFood #SantaMonica #DeliciousJapaneseFood #LosAngelesDelicious
