Savannah | Savannah Food Special 🍴 Here’s the Savannah guide・food edition 🫡! I’ve rounded up several restaurants I personally tried—some pleasant surprises, some minor letdowns. Foodies, take note～ 🍽 The Public Highly recommended!! It definitely deserves the “Most Surprising Restaurant in Savannah” award 🏆～ 📍 The location is fantastic, super close to attractions—you can stroll around to digest right after eating. The environment and vibe are amazing, relaxed and stylish; you’ll feel comfortable as soon as you walk in～ 💁 The service is impeccable! The staff are cheerful and attentive, taking the initiative to recommend dishes and even chatting with you like friends～ 🍤 The food is also amazing! Shrimp & Grits is said to be “the best in town” 🥇, and it truly lives up to the hype～ The flavors are incredibly rich. The grits are creamy and smooth, soaked in the freshness of seafood and the aroma of the sauce. There are also hidden chorizos (Spanish spicy sausage) inside, with a salty, slightly spicy flavor that’s super refreshing. Every bite is full of layers! Although it’s walk-in only, going early means very few people—no waiting at all. Just go for it～ 🍽 Collins Quarter at Forsyth Park 📍 It’s right inside Forsyth Park—what a perfect location! The park lawns and century-old oak trees are right in front of you, and you can lie on the lawn to soak up the sun after eating. What a divine experience～ We arrived at 11:30 on Sunday and only waited 10 minutes to be seated—such good luck ☀️! The classic brunch menu has dishes plated so beautifully they look like works of art, perfect for photos～ As a popular spot, the taste is fully up to par: fluffy pancakes, perfectly runny Eggs Benedict. Eating with the park view makes happiness overflow～ ⚠️ Important note: This Forsyth Park location only serves brunch! The other branch has dinner, which is said to be amazing. I definitely need to check it out next time～ 🍽 Bull Street Taco A small shop full of local charm—you’ll be infected by the lively atmosphere as soon as you walk in 🎵! It specializes in trendy, young fusion-style tacos with bold flavors that are surprisingly delicious～ For example, the mango shrimp taco is sweet, sour, and refreshing; the beef taco has a light smoky aroma, with a slightly charred tortilla. You can’t stop at one bite, and the price is great—perfect for students! 🍽 Common Thread A restaurant converted from an old house—the interior decor is simply stunning ✨! Wooden furniture, vintage chandeliers, old photos on the walls—it’s full of atmosphere, definitely a plus for dates～ The food tastes good but is on the salty side (a common trait in Southern cuisine?). It’s not as amazing as rumored. Given its price and high online ratings, it’s a bit “all talk and no action” and didn’t meet expectations 😐. It’s more suitable for couples looking for a nice atmosphere—remember to make a reservation in advance～ 🍦 Leopold Ice cream Savannah’s popular ice cream, and it lives up to the fame! The milk flavor is so rich it’s like eating melted cheesecake, with a smooth, non-greasy texture. Recommended flavors: rum raisin and butter pecan. Take a scoop and put it in your mouth—happiness reaches the top of your head～ 🍨 🍰 Lulu‘s Chocolate Bar A fantastic dessert shop with long lines even at 9:30 PM—its popularity is off the charts 🔥! It specializes in creative desserts and martinis, a must for dessert lovers～ The strawberry suspension cake I ordered is stunningly beautiful, with a texture as light as a cloud. The sweetness of the cream is balanced by the sourness of the strawberries, not greasy at all. Pair it with a martini for the perfect end to the night～ ☕️ Coffee fox It’s said to be “award-winning coffee” (though I don’t know exactly which award, but it has a strong presence 😎)! Lots of people online recommend the hortacha latte, but it’s a bit too sweet for me. If you don’t like things too sweet, the regular latte is great—creamy foam, rich coffee aroma. A cup in the morning instantly wakes you up～ Restaurants I didn’t get to try this time but have added to my “must-visit next time” list: ▪️ The Olde Pink House - How cute is that pink little house! 🏡 It’s a Savannah landmark, so popular you need to book days in advance. But some people say you can try walking in—might give it a shot next time～ ▪️ The Grey - It has the vibe of a local high-end restaurant, recommended even by Airbnb hosts. The dishes are said to be as exquisite as works of art, perfect for celebrating special occasions～ ▪️ Foxy Loxy Cafe - A cute, fluffy-looking cafe.
