Savannah - Food Guide š“
Savannah - Food Guide š“ Savannah has plenty of delicious eats, and the prices are quite reasonable. Even compared to New Orleans, the food here isnāt far behind š. The highly recommended spots like Leopoldās ice cream š¦, Collins Quarter, Olde Pink House š”, and Chocolat By Adam Turoni š« are all amazingāno misses at all! That chocolate shop is a local favorite with two branches: one has a stunning Alice in Wonderland-themed chandelier like the one in the photos š”, which is super dreamy; the other, called "Library," has staff making chocolates on-site, so you can watch the process š©š³. I chatted with the manager at the first shop on my first day, and surprisingly ran into him again at the second shop the next day. He recognized me from my little dog bagāwhat a coincidence š¶! Iāve come across some local chocolate shops that have unique selling points but just taste so-so⦠But this one is really tasty! The designs are also special, making them perfect gifts š! Some posts donāt recommend Olde Pink House, but it was actually a lovely surprise! The drinks and platters are fantastic, and the old-world charm of the restaurant adds to its appeal āØ. The fish š was huge, cooked perfectly on both sides, and I struggled but managed to finish itāso satisfying! Thereās a little story about Olde Pink House: I booked a table for Tuesday noon a week in advance, but completely forgot on the day. I ended up having Chinese food instead and only remembered in the afternoonāI felt so regretful š . In the end, I decided to try my luck for lunch before heading to the airport. Luckily, I arrived early; even though I didnāt get a table upstairs, the window seat downstairs was nice, so I didnāt miss out after allļ½ A restaurant called Liliās was also a pleasant surprise. Their mocktail "Canary Palm" is fantastic š¹, and the red drum fish recommended by the staff is perfect for Asian palatesāfresh, tender, and full of flavor š . In Charleston, we had oysters and seafood š¦Ŗ, but Iām not really into oysters, so I canāt tell if theyāre good or not. The Chinese food there was decent, not bad at all. Dotties was our first meal upon arrival, but the cold platter wasnāt to my tasteāI found it a bit hard to get used to š. #Savannah#SouthernTown#AmericanSouth#SouthernPlantations#Georgia#SouthernCharm
