Savannah - Food Guide 🍴
Savannah - Food Guide 🍴 Savannah has plenty of delicious eats, and the prices are quite reasonable. Even compared to New Orleans, the food here isn’t far behind 👍. The highly recommended spots like Leopold’s ice cream 🍦, Collins Quarter, Olde Pink House 🏡, and Chocolat By Adam Turoni 🍫 are all amazing—no misses at all! That chocolate shop is a local favorite with two branches: one has a stunning Alice in Wonderland-themed chandelier like the one in the photos 💡, which is super dreamy; the other, called "Library," has staff making chocolates on-site, so you can watch the process 👩🍳. I chatted with the manager at the first shop on my first day, and surprisingly ran into him again at the second shop the next day. He recognized me from my little dog bag—what a coincidence 🐶! I’ve come across some local chocolate shops that have unique selling points but just taste so-so… But this one is really tasty! The designs are also special, making them perfect gifts 🎁! Some posts don’t recommend Olde Pink House, but it was actually a lovely surprise! The drinks and platters are fantastic, and the old-world charm of the restaurant adds to its appeal ✨. The fish 🐟 was huge, cooked perfectly on both sides, and I struggled but managed to finish it—so satisfying! There’s a little story about Olde Pink House: I booked a table for Tuesday noon a week in advance, but completely forgot on the day. I ended up having Chinese food instead and only remembered in the afternoon—I felt so regretful 😅. In the end, I decided to try my luck for lunch before heading to the airport. Luckily, I arrived early; even though I didn’t get a table upstairs, the window seat downstairs was nice, so I didn’t miss out after all~ A restaurant called Lili‘s was also a pleasant surprise. Their mocktail "Canary Palm" is fantastic 🍹, and the red drum fish recommended by the staff is perfect for Asian palates—fresh, tender, and full of flavor 🐠. In Charleston, we had oysters and seafood 🦪, but I’m not really into oysters, so I can’t tell if they’re good or not. The Chinese food there was decent, not bad at all. Dotties was our first meal upon arrival, but the cold platter wasn’t to my taste—I found it a bit hard to get used to 😐. #Savannah#SouthernTown#AmericanSouth#SouthernPlantations#Georgia#SouthernCharm
