Savannah Food & Drink Guide🍴

Savannah Food & Drink Guide🍴 Nestled in southern Georgia, the coastal town of Savannah is small but charming, with no shortage of delicious eats! Here are some restaurants and dishes I’ve tried, for reference—see if anything catches your eye~ 1️⃣ Elizabeth’s on 37th ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A high-end spot marked $$$$ on Google, housed in a historic building with tons of charm~ Reservations are a must, or you’ll miss out! It’s $60-80 per person (with tip), perfect for dates or anniversaries—total romance 💐. The complimentary bread has a subtle orange aroma, soft and fluffy, served with orange jam and butter. The sweet-tart jam mixed with creamy butter is a lovely start~ The chef also sends out a daily amuse-bouche; we got grilled mussels with cheese—so fresh and rich, it set the bar high ✨! We ordered seafood risotto and shrimp & clams for mains. The seafood tasted like it was just pulled from the ocean—plump shrimp, tender clams, and rich sauce in the risotto. It was a bit salty for me (but Southern food tends to be), but the sides were great: crispy mushrooms and creamy potatoes, delicious all around! 2️⃣ Treylor Park ⭐️⭐️ A quirky spot near River St with a food truck theme, serving tapas-style small plates—great for groups 👯. 🔥 Their famous fried avocado is popular but underwhelming; crispy outside, creamy inside, but no standout flavor. A little disappointing 😐. 🍗 Peanut butter chicken wings are unique! Creamy peanut butter mixed with savory wings—uncommon elsewhere. Worth a try if you’re not allergic to peanuts~ 🌮 Chimichanga was the favorite! Brunch versions have a breakfast twist, while dinner ones are different. Crispy fried shell, juicy filling, perfect with salsa—recommended! 3️⃣ Cha Bella ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They focus on “farm to table”—fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farms, with a menu that changes seasonally. Always something new 🌱. Reservations needed, $70-90 per person—romantic and refined, ideal for dates or anniversaries~ Starters: Pan-seared fish with piles of crab (super fresh!) and braised pork belly (not greasy, paired with tangy pickled onions—so good 😋). Mains: Grilled pork ribs are a must! Tender enough to fall off the bone, no gamey taste, with a hint of smoke and balanced sweet-savory sauce. Top 3 ribs I’ve ever had—order if it’s on the menu! 🥩 The grilled steak is incredible, melt-in-your-mouth tender (like tuna belly!), rich with beef flavor. The accompanying mushrooms soak up the juices—every bite is amazing~ #savannah#DateNightRestaurant
