Savannah Food Hunt | Rhett Seafood Restaurant 🦞

Savannah Food Hunt | Rhett Seafood Restaurant 🦞 This is a relatively niche restaurant. I saw a recommendation from a blogger, thought it looked great, and booked a table right away~ It’s located inside the Alida hotel, with a fresh, minimalist Instagram-style decor—simple, elegant, and perfect for photos 📸! You can’t visit Savannah without eating seafood! Their Blue Point Oysters (from Canada) are a must-try! This variety is mild to sweet, super refreshing, and completely free of fishiness~ Squeeze on some lemon juice and dip in hot sauce, and they’re incredibly delicious! Even someone like me, who usually doesn’t eat oysters, couldn’t resist having two 🦪—they’re that good! I originally wanted to order the BBQ Octopus that lots of people raved about on Google Reviews, but the waitress highly recommended the Crispy Calamari. I took her advice, and it was amazing! The calamari rings are golden and crispy, with a tender inside, sprinkled with spices. Dipped in sauce, they’re addictive—perfect with drinks 🍻! For the main course, I followed the recommendation and got the 🦞 Low Country Lobster Scampi, which was delicious enough to lick the plate! The small lobster has firm, bouncy meat with a sweet flavor; the pasta is wide, homemade (made-from-scratch), coated in a rich sauce, with 🥦 broccoli, 🍅 tomatoes, and 🫑 bell peppers adding texture. White wine infuses every strand of pasta, and it’s topped with grated cheese 🧀—unbelievably tasty! It also comes with Old Bay Fries, salty and crispy, pairing perfectly with the pasta~ For cocktails 🍸, try I‘ll Call You Later—slightly sweet with fruity notes, light and easy to drink, great for girls. For beer, go with Compass Rose IPA—it’s rich in fruit flavors, a crisp craft beer, and even my friend who doesn’t usually drink finished one and asked for another 😂! 📍 Address: 412 Williamson St, Savannah, GA 31401 #WeekendGetaway#WeekendEats#Oysters#InstagramWorthyRestaurant
