Savannah Thanksgiving Travel Journal 🦃
Savannah Thanksgiving Travel Journal 🦃 South Carolina is really perfect for friends in the Eastern U.S. to visit~ Especially in winter, when Boston gets dark at 4 PM and all the leaves have fallen 🍂, you can still enjoy a cozy city walk in Savannah and soak in all the greenery 🌿. It’s so pleasant! Overall, one day is enough to explore~ In the morning, you can wander around Forsyth Park. The sunlight filtering through the leaves creates such healing scenes—every photo turns out lovely ☀️. In the afternoon, you must visit Wormsloe Historical Park! That oak avenue is totally worth it ✨. The lush oaks form a natural archway, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. If you’re up for it in the evening, you can try a ghost tour (though we didn’t dare to, haha 😜). For restaurants, these are the ones we recommend 👇 Colin’s Quarter: A highly praised spot—you can order blindly without worrying about misses~ The Grey Restaurant: We could only book a 5 PM slot the same day, at $75 per person. The starters and mains were decent… but the pantry items (small dishes or sides) were just so-so 😐. Fleeting: It’s right downstairs from the hotel. The food is good, but a bit pricey 💰. We stayed at the Thompson Hotel, and the experience was great~ The bakery downstairs is also okay 🥐. If you have a car, you can park in the adjacent lot instead of using valet parking—it’s convenient and saves money 🚗! #savannah#SouthCarolina#EasternUS#Travel
