SD | Summer Rose Garden & Open-Air Concert
Every time I visit Balboa Park, I discover something new. This summer, I found the rose garden 🌹 in full bloom, with a fountain ⛲️ in the center, surrounded by roses that give it a European vibe. The rose garden is right next to the cactus garden; you can check my profile for a guide to the 🌵 garden and Spanish Village photo spots – they’re super photogenic too. It’s only after multiple visits to Balboa Park that I realized the famous “Descendants of the Sun” lotus pond is just a small part of it. Explore a bit more, and you’ll discover even more beautiful scenery. Almost every summer evening, there’s a free concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion at the entrance. It’s seated, so no need to bring your own little stool. I’ve attached the schedule at the end, so you can catch a concert before summer ends. Right next to Balboa Park is the San Diego Zoo, where you can visit the giant pandas 🐼 and then head to Balboa Park for a visit. 🅿️: 🆓 There are plenty of parking lots, but it can be tricky to find a spot on weekends due to the crowd. 👔: Dion Lee #SanDiego #SD #SanDiegoTravel #SouthernCalifornia #California #Travel #Roses #USA #Ootd #California
