SD Lilo | No Wonder It Earned a Michelin Star in Under 3 Months! 🌟🍽️

This place is absolutely incredible! Let’s start with the biggest surprise: all-inclusive pricing at just $373 per person, including a drink each. 🥂💸 The service is next-level—kneeling-style attentiveness! We started with bites in the courtyard, and the server crouched down every time she spoke to us—so respectful and impressive! 🙇♀️✨ The welcome drink was delicious—sweet, tangy, with herbal notes and a fruity finish. The shellfish appetizer was fascinating—served with a chilled sorbet, super fresh and tender with just a subtle earthy tone, but not fishy at all. Both the beef tartare and tuna tartare were outstanding—thoughtfully paired with crispy beans and caviar. Wow—the texture was indescribably amazing! A milk roll with ham sounded rich, but it was perfectly balanced—not heavy at all. Great starter bites! 🥖🍖 After moving indoors: 1️⃣ Ice Plant & Cucumber: Thin cucumber slices wrapped around beautifully seasoned Santa Barbara crab meat, sprinkled with ground flower pollen—so elegant! 🥒🌼 2️⃣ Scallop & Aloe: One bite and I was hooked—so tender, with a hint of butter. Topped with clams as garnish. 3️⃣ 5-Day Aged Fish with Yuzu Oil: Light and refreshing—the fish was thick, bouncy, and tender inside. 4️⃣ Almond Ice Cream Mousse topped with 6-month-aged caviar—mind-blowing! First time trying it—so unique! 🍨🐟 5️⃣ Lobster as the first main course: Served with chili oil made from various peppers, alongside super flaky bread. The lobster was cooked perfectly—you could taste its delicate strands. 🦞🔥 6️⃣ Ribeye with Eel: A fun combo—again featuring aged beef (they clearly love aging here!). 7️⃣ Abalone: A bit disappointing—not tender, slightly tough. Maybe because it was a substitute dish? The soy sauce pairing didn’t quite work. 8️⃣ Dessert: Not as strong as the savory courses, but every restaurant has its weaker spot. The banana mousse cake was better than the strawberry one. 🍌🍓 Really hope they don’t raise prices too soon—I’m definitely coming back! 💖👏 Have you tried a Michelin-starred meal that totally wowed you?
