Seabird Hotel – SoCal’s FHR-Friendly, Fresh & Chic Hidden Gem! 🌊💥
Finally sharing my stay from last year—we spent three amazing days here using two of our own FHR credits and one from a friend! Honestly, just eating, relaxing, and lounging at this hotel was pure bliss. 😌💖 Every year I think about how to maximize my FHR benefits, but let’s be real—Northern California hotels aren’t always the best value (shoutout to Hyatt Regency Tahoe where the service was… not it). So heading down to Southern California during the holiday season was a genius move! 🧠✨ 💙 First off, the hotel is new, beautifully decorated, and in a prime location—just steps from the ocean and the pier. We loved watching the local anglers head out early and return at sunset. The amenities are great, and everything feels clean and fresh. 🌅🎣 💖 Secondly, being a Globalist + using FHR here worked like magic 😅 No joke—we got upgraded to an ocean-view suite, which totally made our trip! And the free breakfast credit covered four people—the front desk guy literally told us and we were shook. Maybe it’s a lax policy, so take advantage while you can! 🥐🍳 Food-wise, there’s basically one super slow restaurant on-site. Avoid going for dinner—the chef might be from Peru, and unless you’re ordering steak, be prepared for some seriously sour flavors. 😅🥩 💙 But the breakfast? A bit overpriced but seriously delicious! Must-orders: the waffle and the crab eggs Benedict. We tried almost everything else, but those two stood out. 🧇🍳 🤍 Parking tip: Skip the hotel valet. There’s a public lot just a two-minute walk away that’s only $5 a day—total win! But heads up: the tickets expire at midnight, so set a reminder to renew! 🅿️⏰ 🍒 Location perks: Great for families—easy drive to San Diego attractions or up to Irvine. Traffic aside, it’s a sweet spot for exploring SoCal! 🚗👨👩👧👦 I bet Oceanside is even prettier this season—go enjoy it while you can! 🌸🌞 #OC #DestinationForHotelLovers #TravelInColor #BoutiqueHotel #LuxuryHotel #FoodNearHotel #SoCalLife #FHRTravel #CaliforniaCoast #HotelHacks
