Seafood in Texas? Where to Find the Best Seafood in Dallas!
⭐On my first day in Texas, I was completely blown away by the seafood here! Who would have thought that the seafood in Texas could be this delicious and of such high quality? 👍The crawfish were truly amazing. At just $12.99 a pound, a huge plate was served! The first bite was an explosion of spicy flavor that hit right between the eyes—it was incredibly exhilarating! At first, I thought it was a Cajun style, but the more I ate, the more I detected a hint of cumin, and perhaps even Worcestershire sauce? Whatever the secret ingredients, the taste was absolutely fantastic! 👍When the spiciness became too much, I would dip the crawfish in some butter, which instantly relieved the heat and brought a whole new level of comfort. The crawfish meat itself was exceptional. I've rarely tasted such fresh crawfish in North America—it felt like they were just pulled out of the pond. Except for two that seemed a bit undernourished and smaller, the rest were huge and had incredibly firm meat. Some even had roe, which added an extra layer of freshness! ⭐I'm seriously considering getting another order to take back to the hotel tomorrow, so I can enjoy them while lying in bed and watching TV—pure bliss! 👍As for the oysters, I was initially skeptical. I mean, oysters in Texas? But the locally farmed Keystone oysters here turned out to be my favorite! They're a bit smaller than those from Maine or Rhode Island, but they outshine them in quality—firm, slightly sweet, and with that natural briny flavor of the sea. The Hardwood oyster tasted like it had been on a long journey, while the East Beach one looked like it had been stabbed a few times... #DallasFood #DallasEats
