Seafood Restaurant
📍 "La Cambusa del Capitano" This isn't a trendy spot—it's a small restaurant that mainly focuses on seafood dishes. I really have to praise this hidden gem tucked away in a corner. A friend took me here. The restaurant is quite small, but the atmosphere is incredibly warm, and the owner is extremely friendly. He carefully introduced the fresh seafood that had been caught that day (in addition to the regular menu, they also offer a daily catch menu). We ordered a fish dish, which takes a bit longer to cook. The owner thoughtfully provided us with marinated anchovies with bread slices 🍵 (see photo 5) while we waited—truly excellent service! All the dishes are very authentic in flavor. 🌟 Polpo Tobia (Octopus) 🐙 The octopus legs are cooked to perfection—tender and smooth, served with creamy mashed potatoes and red pepper. It's really delicious! 🌟 Scrigno del Capitano (Seafood Pasta) 🦐🦀 I've had many seafood pastas, and while this one isn't the best I've ever had, the ingredients are very generous and fresh. It includes shrimp, crab, crayfish, clams, mussels, and squid 🦑—definitely filling and satisfying. 🌟 Grilled Fish with Roasted Potatoes 🐟🥔 I'm quite sensitive to fishy flavors, so I could still detect a bit of it, but my friend said the fish was very fresh. This dish is a matter of personal preference; those who love fish should give it a try. The roasted potatoes, however, are really good! 🌟 Order Details: Two girls and one guy ordered three dishes, which were more than enough. The seafood pasta is especially filling! Great value for money—we spent a total of over €90. The owner highly recommended sea urchin, but I personally didn't like it, so I didn't order it. Those who enjoy sea urchin should definitely give it a try. 📍 Address: Viale Corsica, 31r, 50127 Firenze FI #Florence #FlorenceFood #FlorenceRestaurant
