šŸ° Seaside Castle | LA Getty Villa šŸ°

Yesterday, I finally visited the renowned Getty Villa in Los Angeles, a villa built by the famous American oil tycoon J. Paul Getty. He integrated his love for classical art into every corner of the museum, like a time tunnel to ancient Greece and Rome! Each sculpture, each fresco seems to tell a story of a thousand years. The design of the entire museum is also modeled after ancient Roman villas, and the air is filled with the breath of history. 🌿 Garden Beauty Must mention is the villa's garden, surrounded by tall pines and olive trees, tranquil and elegant. Fountains and statues complement each other, as if stepping into a classical painting with a distant artistic conception. šŸŽØ Art Treasures The museum houses as many as 44,000 pieces, covering artworks from 6500 BC to 400 BC. Particularly fond of those exquisite ancient pottery and lifelike marble statues, one can't help but marvel at the wisdom and skill of the ancients. šŸ“ø Must-Take Photos The atrium's circular fountain, with dappled light and shadow, is definitely an Instagram-worthy spot. The open-air theater, standing here feels like you can sense the bustling atmosphere of an ancient Roman theater. The sea view outside the museum, the Pacific Ocean in the distance is so blue it's intoxicating. šŸ‘— Travel Tips Dress elegantly when coming here, the more extravagant the better. I chose something more comfortable and casual because I was heading to Malibu's beach later, so I didn't wear high heels. It's recommended to wear a colorful, full-skirted, off-shoulder long dress; it will definitely add points to your photos! The museum closes at 5 pm and requires a reservation, so plan your time well. The Getty Villa is not only an art museum but also a place where one can quiet down and feel history and culture. If you are interested in ancient Greek and Roman culture, this is definitely a treasure trove you cannot miss! #getty #malibu #LosAngelesMalibu #LosAngeles #LA #LosAngelesMuseums #LA #artmuseum #AncientGreekRomanCulture #MustVisitAttractions #OffTheBeatenPathTravel #JPaulGetty #LosAngelesTravel
