Seaside Half-Day in Tacoma 🥰|Mt. Rainier Views + Roses 🌹🏔️
Last long weekend, I explored more of Tacoma’s gorgeous coastline — a bit of a drive from Seattle, but so worth it! Here’s a relaxing and scenic half-day itinerary perfect for ocean, mountain, and flower lovers 🌊⛰️🌸: 📍 Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park One of the best spots to view Mt. Rainier with the water in the foreground — a photographer’s dream 📸✨. The combination of sea and mountain is stunning! You can also see Vashon Island across the water 🏝️… I’m already planning a ferry trip there next time! ⛴️ 📍 Point Defiance Rose Garden The roses are in full bloom right now — so colorful and romantic 💐❤️. I even saw a couple taking their wedding photos here! 📍 Japanese Garden at Point Defiance Park A small but serene garden with traditional elements like lanterns, bridges, and koi ponds 🎋🍃. Perfect for a quiet moment. 📍 Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Also located within the park! 🐯🐧 A great place for families — we skipped it this time, but it’s ideal for kids. 📍 Judge Jack Tanner Park A lovely surprise — right on the water with easy parking 🚗💨. Perfect for catching the sunset and feeling the ocean breeze 😍🌅. You can easily visit all these spots in one trip — flowers, sea views, mountain backdrops… pure bliss! #Seattle #SeattleLife #Tacoma #MountRainier #WashingtonParks #PNWSummer #TravelWA #SeattleDayTrip
