Seattle’s Famous Turkish Restaurant Recommendation: HAMDI

🌟Nestled in a modest street in Ballard, on a rainy evening, stepping into HAMDI’s door reveals a warm and cozy atmosphere. It’s said that the owner of this restaurant used to work in a Michelin-starred establishment and later started a food truck selling Turkish kebab that became an overnight sensation, leading to the creation of HAMDI. 🌟The menu is ever-changing, but there are a few signature dishes that are always on the menu, such as Kebap and T-bone steak. However, what surprised me today were the other unique Turkish appetizers. 🌟The cocktails are named after Turkish cities, and the waitress will wheel a cart to your table to mix your drink right in front of you. 🌟The first dish, sourdough bread dipped in celery cheese sauce, with dried figs releasing a mature sweetness in the mouth, instantly won over my taste buds. 🌟The watermelon salad with yogurt and goat cheese offered a very novel taste sensation. 🌟The grilled lamb had the flavor of domestic lamb skewers; the Turkish pizza was crispy and delicious; the 48-hour marinated chicken wings were tender, with a slight saltiness… 🌟The signature main course, Kebap, might have seemed a bit plain after the previous dishes, which set a high standard. 🌟The dessert was rice pudding, sprinkled with pistachios, which was passable. 🌟The meal cost about $150 per person and lasted a full two hours. 🌟As we left, the rain had stopped. Seattle’s rainy season has arrived quietly, and every sunny day from now on should be cherished. #SeattleRestaurants #WillVisitAgain #AtmosphericRestaurant #FoodCheckIn #TreasureRestaurantShare
