Seattle’s Hidden Gem Japanese Izakaya in Capitol Hill
But I went for dinner, hehe 😏 Most restaurants in the area close at 9 pm, But this place stays open until 11 pm, which is a blessing for night owls like me who love a late dinner. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and this was my first time visiting. Can you believe it? 🙄 The first two dishes were recommended by sisters online, and they were definitely not disappointments. The Rocking Wagyu Beef (where you grill your own wagyu on a stone) Hayashi Rice (a bit rich because it’s mixed with cheese, but delicious) For dessert, we had the Baiten Flight, a vanilla ice cream served with 6 different syrups. If you don’t like a particular syrup, you can substitute it. We tried each one individually and even mixed them all together. The whole process was like conducting an experiment. 🧪 Actually, the Baiten dessert shop is right next door, but it closes early, which is a shame. The black cocktail 🍹 is the Dark Typhoon, made with squid ink. Surprisingly, it tastes like perfume when you drink it. If you’re into unique and quirky flavors, you should definitely give it a try. 🤔 As for the 🍸, the off-menu Yuzu Margarita Slushy was pretty good too. In total, without tip, it came to over $80. In summary, it’s a restaurant that’s both delicious and fun. 🎉 #JapaneseIzakaya #RestaurantRecommendations #HiddenGemRestaurant #JapaneseCuisine #SeattleFoodHunting #Seattle #SeattleFood #SeattleCapitalHill
