Seattle’s Little Jiuzhaigou for a Joyful Oxygen Fix 🌳✨

Heard that Gold Creek Pond is scheduled to be filled in next year, so I rushed to check it out last week during a rare sunny day. It’s about a 1-hour drive from Bellevue 🚗 The entire trail is short and flat, but the scenery all around is incredibly beautiful 🥹. I love the tranquil atmosphere here and the reflection of the trees and snow-capped mountains on the water’s surface, as well as the serene, shimmering lake ✨. It’s perfect for a weekend hike and picnic. On the way back, I passed by the Stump Lake Keechelus Trailhead, which has many uniquely shaped stumps. However, the water level is currently high, and to get to the stumps with “long hair,” you’d need to wade through the water. I’ll save that for a summer visit. #SeattleSurroundings #SeattleWeekend #EastSeattleLife #SeattleHiking #SeattleDaily #EveryDayIsWorthRecording
