Seattle’s Niche 🍝 | Exotic Elk & Truffle Mushroom Pasta
This Italian restaurant is pretty niche; it’s not far from UW, but since there’s nothing else to explore nearby, it seems like not many Chinese people come here. However, the place is fairly busy on weekday evenings. The decor inside is quite whimsical, and the bathroom is pretty scary 😆 The walls say “Cell Phone Surcharge $5” and “nobody is fine with watet” For appetizers, I recommend the 【Bruchetta Bizzarro】. The crispy bread is topped with cheese and fig compote, along with homemade red wine sauce. It’s my first time trying this combination, and it’s a pleasant surprise. The texture is a mix of crunchiness and creaminess, with a sweet finish. Out of curiosity, I ordered the 【Elk Bolognese】, but it tastes just like regular bolognese, nothing special. However, it is delicious. Mushroom and truffle lovers must try 【The Forest Floor Frenzy】. The white sauce is rich and creamy, and the pasta has the perfect thickness to hold the sauce. It’s not too heavy even when shared between two people. The walnuts in it are also a nice touch. Highly recommended 👍 Overall, I think both the atmosphere and the dishes here are quite unique and worth a try. #ItalianCuisine #WesternFood #RestaurantRecommendations #AtmosphericRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #Seattle #SeattleFood #SeattleLife #SeattleFoodExploration #Pasta #ItalianPasta
