Seattle’s Trendy Fine Dining 🍷 - Ascend

📍 Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi This is my third time coming here for dinner, and it feels like one of the few restaurants in the Seattle area where the ambiance, service, and taste are all on point. It’s perfect for a date or a celebration. Moreover, compared to other fine dining restaurants that only offer tasting menus, this place allows you to order à la carte, which is more flexible. I’ve detailed the comparison in my previous Seattle Fine Dining summary notes. Here’s what we ordered: Cocktail: 🍹 Cloud Nine: The blue cocktail in Picture 3, refreshing and delicious, with dry ice on top for full ambiance, perfect for photos. 🍸 Rocket Pop: A Mocktail with layers of flavor, recommended for those who don’t drink alcohol, on the left in Picture 3. Appetizer: 🦢 Seared Sonoma Foie Gras: A must-order dish every time, the foie gras with waffle is delicious and not greasy, and the presentation improves with each visit, bottom in Picture 4. Steak: 🥩 Porterhouses Prime “Dry Aged” Steaks: 50-day dry-aged T-bone steak, 32oz. It’s not too large because it includes the bone, and it’s very tasty, just right for the two of us! Top in Picture 4. 🍟 Fries with Truffle: We chose truffle fries as a side for the steak, bottom in Picture 6. Sushi: 🍣 Uni Nigiri + Beef Waygu Nigiri: We wanted to order the Premium Omakase, but two types of fish were unavailable, so we ordered uni and wagyu sushi instead. The uni was fresh and sweet, while the wagyu was just okay, a bit cold by the time it arrived after being torch-grilled, top in Picture 5. Dessert: 🍮 Skyfall: A macaron cheesecake fruit platter, delicious and not too sweet. If you mention a birthday or anniversary when making a reservation, they’ll gift this dessert, complete with dry ice for a ceremonial feel, bottom in Picture 5. 🧁 Magic Mushroom: Looks unique and really like a magic mushroom, but it’s too sweet and not as tasty, better for photos than the Skyfall. Our total bill, including tax and tip, came to around $400, and both of us were full. Summary: Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price: 💲💲💲 Recommendation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 #LoudlyRecommendingLocalFood #RestaurantRecommendations #Seattle #SeattleFood #Bellevue #FineDining #Ascend #FoodExploration #TikTok
