Seattle’s Value-for-Money Omakase Choice – Sai Sushi

🌟The title might be a bit exaggerated, but while the price isn’t exactly cheap, the portion size is indeed generous. The uni toro hand roll at the end was so large it felt like eating a zongzi (rice dumpling), which was very satisfying. 🌟The appetizers and sashimi were good but not particularly stunning, and the hot dishes were rather average. The yellowtail was a bit oversteamed and tough. 🌟However, the sushi was truly excellent, with generous slices of fish and delicious sushi rice, plus some unique ingredients. The akagai (ark shell) was particularly impressive, very fresh and crunchy. Chef Saito is very sincere; when we complimented his special ingredients, he laughingly said he had switched to more unique fish after receiving complaints about using salmon. 🌟According to online reviews, many say that Chef Saito is constantly improving and advancing. His current level (ingredients, seasoning, plating, etc.) seems to be second only to Taneda in Seattle, and it’s easier to make a reservation and more affordable than Taneda. I’ll definitely come back to try the private omakase during the week next time. #Seattle #SeattleFoodExploration #SeattleFoodie
