Seattle|Old Village Korean BBQ 🔥 Hidden Gem
📍 15200 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 🕑 Weekdays: 4 PM–10 PM | Weekends: 12 PM–10 PM (closes at 9 PM on Sundays) Tucked away in a corner of a plaza, Old Village is a cozy and low-key Korean barbecue spot — dimly lit and unassuming, but seriously hearty and delicious. The portions are huge! 🥗 Banchan (Side Dishes): Loved them, especially the tangy spicy garlic stems with purple rice — could eat so much of it! Great variety and most were really tasty. The salad was also generously sized. 🥩 Meat: Beef Brisket: A bit thick, but the dipping sauce was delicious. Pork Belly: Thinly sliced, grilled until crispy — surprisingly a favorite (I usually don’t love overly fatty cuts). Spicy Pork: Not spicy at all! By this point I was already almost full, so couldn’t enjoy it as much, but it was tasty. This one is cooked on a different grill, so you have to finish the previous meats first. 🍲 AYCE also includes a soup — I chose sundubu tofu soup (not spicy, lots of mushrooms, very comforting), though there wasn’t much protein besides the tofu. ✨ The server was really nice. She was surprised we only did one round, and kindly reminded us about last call at 9:30 PM. Next time I’d like to try their non-AYCE menu — seems a bit pricier but might be worth it! #Seattle#Seattletravel#fooddiary#Seattleguide#Seattlefood3#seattlelife
