Seattle|Who Understands the Joy of Devouring Meat Like This?!
Suddenly craving some wild American-style BBQ, so I searched around and found this nearby spot! We ordered a 1.6-pound beef rib (Thursday special!) and a three-in-one BBQ plate (which included brisket, ribs, sausage, and two sides). The ribs from the plate were the absolute highlight! 🍖 The outer layer had a smoky, black pepper crust, while the inside was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—just the right amount of salt to bring out the meat’s natural flavor. The meat near the bone was slightly drier but still packed with rich, beefy goodness, reminiscent of Jack Links beef jerky but with a far superior texture! In comparison, the brisket was decent but not as exciting—more like a slow-cooked pot roast, falling apart easily. Some pieces were melt-in-your-mouth tender, while others were a bit dry (pro tip: ask for the juicier cuts if that’s your preference!). The sausage was a savory, well-seasoned beef link, firm and juicy, but the jalapeño one was seriously spicy! 🌶️😂 As for the beef rib, it was rich, buttery, and super tender (though slightly looser in texture compared to the ribs from the plate). The portion was massive—definitely a great value, but be warned, it’s easy to get full fast! For the sides, the Texas chili was a standout—more meat than broth, just how it should be! The corn pudding was unique, almost like a mix of corn kernels, creamy corn mash, and a texture similar to Korean steamed egg custard. 🥣 Overall, this place delivers authentic, no-frills BBQ. If you’re looking for complex seasoning, you might find it basic, but if you appreciate high-quality meat with simple, bold flavors, this spot won’t disappoint. While it wasn’t mind-blowing, everything was solid, and those ribs from the plate are 100% worth trying again! 📍 Restaurant Name: Jack's BBQ & Steakhouse Bellevue | Redmond #SeattleFood #SeattleLife #SeattleEats #SeattleAdventures #SeattleFoodie #BellevueEats #RedmondFood #SeattleBBQ #MeatLovers #FoodieHeaven
