Seattle|Winter at Mount Rainier - Like Stepping into a Fairytale

🎫Road conditions and ticket information can be checked on the official Mount Rainier website. The entrance fee is $30 per vehicle, valid for seven days. It's required to carry tire chains — staff at the entrance will ask but not inspect closely. However, for safety, we highly recommend bringing them. We even had to stop and install ours during the drive. 🥰You can rent chains at Ashford General Store along the way for $25 per day, with a return deadline of 7:00 PM. They're also available for purchase near the park entrance, though likely at a higher price. 🌄At the entrance to the Skyline Trail, there's a Paradise Wilderness Information Center where you can rent snow poles, traction shoes, and other gear. All rentals must be returned by 3:00 PM, or you could be charged hundreds of dollars in fees. In our experience, having some anti-slip gear is definitely helpful. 🩷Try to start heading back down the trail by around 3:00 PM. After the sun sets, temperatures drop quickly, and it gets much colder. If you're near the information center around 4:00 PM, you'll be treated to a stunning sunset and sweeping views — absolutely worth staying for! ❄️🌄 #Seattle#travelguide#Washingtonguide#Seattleguide
