Seattle's Itadaki Yakiniku Changes Its Menu to À La Carte

Where to eat in Seattle itadaki Yakiniku 📍 Bellevue Rating: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 🌕 The upscale Japanese yakiniku in Bellevue has changed its menu! Now everything is à la carte, with no set meals available. 🌕 The dining atmosphere here is truly great. The decor is elegant, and the restaurant is spacious. The staff grill the meat for you from start to finish, which is very relaxing. However, I think the grilling skills of the staff member assigned to us were just okay. I saw a few times where the meat almost slipped out of his tongs... But the quality of the meat is so good that it still tasted delicious! 🌕 Almost everything we ordered from the "on the grill" section was fantastic. I personally loved the fillet cubes—they were incredibly tender! All the meat is Japanese A5 Wagyu, so the quality is really top-notch. The large steak on the table side was a bit greasy, but when eaten with rice and noodles at the end, it was filling. I think next time I'd prefer to order the more delicate, sliced options from the "on the grill" section, like two, four, or six pieces. 🌕 The appetizer, beef tartare, was decent and tasty. The beef sandwich is a must-try; the meat is thick and tender, and I'll definitely order it again. 🍔 I didn't try any of the specialties, so I can't comment on them. I saw on social media that people said the sea urchin was quite fishy, so I was hesitant to try it. 😅 The shrimp was large and bouncy, but the seasoning was a bit too salty for my taste. 🌖 The starch options like the Wagyu donburi smelled a bit like Chinese-style fried sauce noodles—not bad, but not amazing. The Japanese cold noodles with yuzu flavor were also good, but everything is a bit pricey. 🌖 Overall, the food was delicious, but the prices are definitely on the higher side. I just got back from Japan, where I tried the legendary yoroniku, which is considered the best. Itadaki Yakiniku is somewhat similar (though, of course, yoroniku was still better 😄), but it's definitely a great spot for dates or celebrations. #Seattle #SeattleWeekend #SeattleLife #SeattleTravel #SeattleFoodie #SeattleEats #SeattleAdventures #SeattleEastside #Bellevue
