Seattle's Late-Night Vietnamese Noodle Bar with Live House Vibes

Step into a dimly lit, punk-inspired space where Vietnamese and Southeast Asian flavors get a bold, modern twist! 🎸🌙 I tried their $35 Restaurant Week menu (which is pretty close to their regular pricing), and the fusion dishes were surprisingly fun! 📸 Menu reference in the last slide. 🥢 APPETIZERS — Elegant but petite 1️⃣ Bò lá lốt - Betel Leaf Beef Grilled beef wrapped in betel leaf, served as three delicate skewers. Tender, juicy, and paired with a tangy salad of pickled radish, cucumber, pineapple, and crushed peanuts. A bright and refreshing start—but gone too soon! 😢🍍 2️⃣ Crispy Saigon Caramelized Prawns Protein-fried prawns with an ultra-crispy shell 🍤! The sauce is intense—fish sauce, black pepper, lemongrass, garlic, and shallots. Rich and aromatic, but a bit heavy after a few bites. 🍜 NOODLES — The Main Attraction 1️⃣ Five Spice Duck Leg Confit A massive, fall-off-the-bone duck leg with crispy skin and deeply spiced broth. Served with wide wheat noodles that leaned soft, plus pickled mustard greens, goji berries, and chili oil. The roasted duck broth with black vinegar was deeply savory and tangy—an intriguing bowl! 🦆🔥 2️⃣ Hokkien Wok Noodle Think: seafood-tomato noodle bliss! 🍅🦑 Stir-fried with pork shoulder, shrimp, squid, bean sprouts, garlic chives, and a spicy fish sauce. Packed with wok hei and flavor—though again, the noodles were on the softer side. 🍮 DESSERT — The Sweet Finale 1️⃣ Vietnamese Coffee Crème Brûlée Bold, bitter, and beautifully smooth—just like a strong cup of Vietnamese coffee ☕. The crackly caramelized top gave way to a silky custard underneath. A bitter-sweet showstopper! 2️⃣ Olympic Mountain Ice Cream Toasted black sesame flavor so rich, it tasted like a frozen version of black sesame soup 🍨. A cozy, Asian-friendly finish. ❤️ THE VIBE Reckless by name, reckless by flavor—this spot isn’t afraid to mix it up! 💥 A moody, intimate setting perfect for late-night chats or dates. Don’t come for “authentic” comfort noodles—come for bold, conversation-starting food. 📍 2519 S Jackson St, Seattle #Seattle #SeattleFoodScene #SeattleNoodles #VietnameseFood #RecklessNoodleHouse #SeattleEats #FoodReview
