Seattle's New AYCE BBQ Spot

Just saw this place recommended yesterday, and since I had errands near the Asian Family Market today, I decided to check out the newly opened Wagyu Factory! As an AYCE (All-You-Can-Eat) BBQ enthusiast, I tried it myself and think it's quite commendable and tasty! Worth a dedicated review. ✨ Four Standout Highlights: A Ode to Meat & Fire 🥩🔥: The meat quality lives up to the restaurant's name. The key is the very strong fire! The sizzling sound and the aroma from the instant Maillard reaction bring a joy that electric grills just can't match. Surprise-Filled Buffet Bar 🍽️: This might be one of the most sincere buffet bars in Seattle's AYCE scene! The fried oysters 🦪 and takoyaki 🐙 are quality, not just lazy pre-made stuff. They even have siu mai and shrimp dumplings in steamers, giving instant dim sum vibes. The dessert section features egg tarts, swiss rolls, taiyaki, and some decent-looking non-food-colored pastries. Beyond regular soft drinks, the beverage station offers non-artificially-sweetened milk tea and refreshing yuzu tea—the latter is a perfect match for BBQ, cutting through the grease wonderfully! Comfortable Service & Environment 😌: The servers change the grill nets super frequently without needing reminders. The seating is spacious, utensils are clean without grease stains, and the overall dining environment is bright and comfortable. Great Location & Parking 🚗: Right next to Asian Family Market. The drive from Downtown is smooth with no traffic (so relieving!), and parking is easy, which is a huge plus for drivers. 📝 Ordering Tips: Focus on the BBQ! Go straight for the BBQ-only option and feast on the meat. The meats are well-marinated. Most recommended are the beef short ribs and beef tongue. The tongue, especially, doesn't look fatty but bursts with juicy fat in your mouth after grilling—absolutely divine! Pro Tip: Their grill nets have fine mesh, and the fire is strong, so meat can burn quickly. To avoid "charcoal," remember to place the meat more towards the edges of the grill and manage your pace. Can Skip: The Shabu broth is average, and the meat for hot pot tends to be tough. The vegetable selection and fruit (which is canned) at the buffet bar are relatively ordinary, so manage expectations. (Update: As pointed out in the comments, they use gas flames under the grill net, not charcoal. Friends who are particular about "authentic charcoal fire" please take note.) Overall, this is a great new AYCE BBQ option with quality meat, diverse buffet choices, and a comfortable experience. For Seattle, this level is already very satisfying! I'll be back for the meat and those fried oysters! #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #SeattleEats #AYCEBBQ #FoodieAdventure #FoodDiscovery #BellevueEats
