Seattle's No-Fail Restaurant Guide 🍽️✅
Just spent a week exploring Seattle and nearby areas – and honestly, the food scene is far from a "culinary desert"! Here’s my personal roundup of reliable spots, grouped by location: 📍 Near the Airport 1️⃣ Yang Guofu Malatang – A hearty bowl for over $20, but fresh ingredients and satisfying for two. 🥬🍖 2️⃣ Din Tai Fung – Always busy, worth the hype? Maybe. Red oil wonton sauce leaned sweet, chocolate mochi xiaolongbao were scalding hot 🫢 – but it’s a classic. 3️⃣ Old Saigon – Opens early at 10 AM! Their 11 sour-spicy pho woke up my taste buds 🌶️🍜 – better than the classic version. ~$20 with tax & tip, enough for two. 📍 Port Angeles 1️⃣ Kokopelli Grill – A local seafood favorite. Tuna salad 🥗 and seafood pasta were delicious. Crab cakes were uniquely tasty! 2️⃣ Next Door Gastropub – Not mind-blowing, but open till 10 PM when everything else closes early. Freshly fried everything! 🍟 📍 Forks 1️⃣ Mexican Restaurant – Their Trio Fajita with sizzling meat and shrimp made me emotional 🥹 (or maybe I was just exhausted). The Mexican burger looked great too – ordered it for my dog 🐶. 📍 Bellevue 1️⃣ Dongbei Renjia – Authentic Northeast-style iron pot fish 🐟. Arrive at 4:30 PM to avoid lines. Slow-cooked and worth the wait! 2️⃣ Yi Zao Yi Wan – Long line at 9 AM, but totally worth it. Savory soy milk, youtiao, and incredible lamb soup! 🐑🍜 3️⃣ Three Goats Grill – Open late! Perfect for a comforting bowl of wonton soup or tasty skewers 🍢 – chicken cartilage, beef, pork belly, and grilled bread. Owner even gave us free potato slices for the wait! 4️⃣ Haidilao Hot Pot – Weekday meat is a steal. Fresh shrimp 🦐, dancing noodles, 4-soup base. ~$80 for two with tax & tip. 📍 Seattle Qiao Lin Hot Pot – Rich weekday set menu including soup base – highly recommended! #SeattleEats #SeattleFoodGuide #NoFailRestaurants #SeattleAndBeyond #FoodieTravel #EatLikeALocal
