Seattle's Ultimate Italian Restaurant 🍴 Where Beauty and Flavor Meet!

Another long-saved gem of a restaurant with an incredibly high Google rating! 🌟 Upon entering, I noticed that the patrons were almost exclusively middle-aged white locals—definitely a spot that locals love. The decor is fantastic, with lush green plants 🌳 at the entrance and a classic Italian interior. We called ahead the day before to make a reservation ☎️ and were seated by the window, which had a fantastic ambiance! The restaurant also offers free street parking 🚗 nearby, which is super convenient! Similar to traditional Italian restaurants, they offer complimentary bread with olive oil dip 🫒 as soon as you arrive. But let me tell you, their olive oil dip is exceptionally fragrant and a huge plus! It was so good that we asked the waiter to refill it, and my friends and I all agreed it's the best pre-meal bread we've had in Seattle so far! During the ordering process 📝, there's a regular menu and a daily special. **Calamari Siciliana** A delightful appetizer of tangy squid rings 🦑. The tomato flavor 🍅 is very pronounced, but it's not overly acidic, making it perfect for those who prefer a lighter taste. The squid is fresh and tender, and I loved the burst of juice from the small tomatoes inside. **Tagliatelle With Wild Mushroom Ragu** Recommended by our waiter 👨🏻‍🍳 as a special, this dish features slightly wider pasta with an incredibly rich, smoky mushroom aroma 🍄 mixed with a creamy cheese sauce 🧀. Each bite is incredibly satisfying, and I'm a huge fan of the white sauce. Although I'm not usually a fan of wide noodles, I can confidently say this dish ranks in the top 2️⃣ of the best pastas I've had in Seattle! **Spaghetti Carbonara** Another classic creamy pasta 🍝 dish available on the regular menu! Compared to the previous one, this pasta has an even stronger cheese flavor 🧀 and is mixed with smoky bacon bits 🍖. If you love creamy white sauces, you won't go wrong with this one. The classic Italian round spaghetti makes it easy to coat every bite with the delicious sauce. P.S. When ordering, I saw a middle-aged white man at the next table enjoying a 🍅 tomato and meatball pasta that looked amazing! I don't know which dish it was, but I hope someone can tell me if it's as good as it looked! 😍 💰 Average cost per person: $40-60 📍 Ristorante Picolinos 6415 32nd Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107 #food #Seattle #RestaurantReview #SeattleFoodie #USA #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGems #BeautifulMeals #PastaLovers #ItalianCuisine
