Seattle & Nearby | Hotel & Experience Recommendations

We were blessed with clear skies during our four-day Thanksgiving trip to Seattle ☀️. The hotels and unique experiences we chose added so much to the journey—here are our highlights. 🏨 Hotel Picks 1. Hyatt Regency Washington Lake One of the rare Hyatts in the US that feels both new and impeccably clean. Free self-parking 🅿️; the corner lake-view room was stunning on sunny days. Steps away from the Boeing factory—great for plane enthusiasts. 2. Salish Lodge & Spa The biggest surprise of the trip! Found it through a Reddit recommendation. Free valet parking, welcome hot apple cider on arrival 🍎. Booked a private hot soak (~$100 for 55 mins) two weeks ahead—facing Snoqualmie Falls, utterly peaceful. Dinner and brunch were delicious. Compared to similarly priced “old-money” spa resorts in Southern California, this place radiates natural charm. 3. Grand Hyatt Seattle Most downtown hotels show their age, but location is key—minutes by car to main attractions. Well-maintained and clean, a practical choice for a short city stay. 🌃 Special Experience Space Needle - The Loupe Lounge A rotating lounge at the top of the Space Needle! 🍸 ~$200 per person (includes dinner, craft cocktails, and VIP access to the observation level)—good value. Food was tasty, but skipping lines and having the skyline to ourselves made it a nostalgic, dream-come-true moment. ✨ 🍎 Sweet Discovery The hot apple cider sold all over Seattle streets was so good! Planning to order some online back in Southern California—chilled, it’s just as refreshing. I didn’t have high expectations for a city getaway, but this Thanksgiving trip turned out perfectly paced, full of sunshine and calm. #SeattleThanksgiving #SeattleHotels #SpaceNeedleLounge#SalishLodge #HyattStay #SeattleLakeView#SpaRetreat #Seattle4Days #UrbanEscape
