Seattle | A Beloved Vietnamese Restaurant
The restaurant is small but very clean. A sign at the entrance reads, "Rising unstained from the mud," which perfectly reflects its name. It was also my first time encountering a Vietnamese menu with seven pages of options! 🍜 Bun Bo Hue 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Be sure to add the beef short ribs for $2—the portion is enormous and truly impressive, even larger than the one at Pho Brothers. The bowl includes brisket, beef meatballs, and a variety of meats. Everything was delicious except for the pork blood. I especially loved the lemongrass pork meatballs, which tasted housemade and uniquely flavorful. 🍚 Shaking Beef Rice 🌟🌟🌟 Not sure why it’s called this, but the beef cubes were tasty though a bit overcooked. The spring rolls were delicious and seemed housemade, packed with generous fillings. 🍗 Garlic Butter Chicken Wings 🌟🌟🌟 Ordered these because they reminded me of the famous wings at Phnom Penh House. While not as loaded with garlic and onions, they were still flavorful—a bit salty but incredibly fragrant. Overall, this is a hidden gem I’d love to revisit. The menu is so extensive that it’s impossible to try everything in one go. Next time, I’d like to try their grilled meats, which I’ve heard are also excellent. 📍 Lotus Pond 12752 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 #Food #SeattleFood #SeattleVietnamese #ShorelineEats #VietnameseCuisine#foodguide#Seattle
