Seattle | Autumn Charm on Orcas Island
👉 Mt. Constitution The most famous spot on the island—accessible by car. On clear days, you can see Mt. Baker and Vancouver. There’s a Cascade Lake overlook halfway up the mountain. 👉 Eastsound A small town with 2-3 streets housing most of the island’s restaurants, boutiques, bookstores, and souvenir shops. 👉 Moran State Park & Cascade Falls The park has three waterfalls, but Cascade Falls is the standout—just a 0.2-mile walk from the parking lot. Mountain Lake and Cascade Lake are also drivable, reminiscent of Olympic National Park’s Lake Crescent. Camping is available here! 🍴 Buck Bay Shellfish Farm A highly recommended spot on the other end of the island. Unfortunately, they were out of raw oysters and steamed clams when we visited. We tried the crab cake, tacos, and fried oysters—average taste and overpriced. 🍴 Clever Cow Creamery Tried the London Fog and coffee flavors—creamy but not overly rich. Highly recommended! #OrcasIsland #SeattleTravel #FallVibes #WashingtonState #IslandLife#Seattle#Seattle life#travel diary
