Seattle | Bun Bo Hue – The Ultimate Vietnamese Noodle Soup
📍 Lotus Pond Vietnamese Cuisine 12752 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 The broth here is different from typical pho—richer in flavor and less tangy 🍜. Short ribs cost an extra $2, but even without them, the bowl is packed with ingredients: brisket, beef balls, handmade ham balls, and pork blood. ✨Vegetables, chili oil, and shrimp paste are served on the side. The shrimp paste has a strong, salty aroma, but it’s surprisingly addictive when used as a dip—so flavorful! The Pho Dac Biet (special pho) is also generously loaded. My favorite part is the tender beef tendon. 🚗 Limited parking is available in front of the restaurant, so try to avoid peak hours! The shopfront is quite inconspicuous. It’s about a 10-minute drive from UW (without traffic), near Asian Family Market. #Seattle #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #VietnameseNoodles #BunBoHue #Seattle #Food #SeattleWeekend #SeattleRestaurants
