Seattle | Checking Out a Modern American-Chinese Spot in Bothell
๐ Spring Bistro ๐ 18105 Bothell Way NE, Bothell, WA 98011 ๐ธ Known for going viral with their $9.99 Lobster Noodles ๐ฆ, this restaurant is under the Dong Ting Chun groupโso we had to check it out! This time, though, we skipped the lobster noodles since we ordered Dan Dan Noodles instead ๐ ๐ Braised Beef Tongue: Light and tender, thinly sliced with a special house sauce. Couldnโt quite figure out the flavor, but it was tasty! ๐ Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao): Tasted like they might be pre-made? Be carefulโtheyโre juicy! We accidentally got splashed ๐ฆ, but the flavor was decent. ๐ Fresh Coconut Chicken Soup: Comforting and nourishing ๐ฅฅ๐ฒโyou can really taste the coconut! ๐ Dan Dan Noodles: Not spicy, generous portion with lots of minced meat. A solid choice! ๐ Slow-Braised Beef Short Ribs (No Water Added): My top recommendation! ๐๐ฅ Beef short ribs stewed with tomatoes until super tenderโthe meat falls apart with just chopsticks, and the tomato breaks down into a rich, flavorful sauce. So good! ๐ White Truffle Fries: Fries with cheese powder ๐งโฆ honestly, pretty average. Might as well grab some from McDonaldโs ๐ ๐ Cheesy Corn: Tasty, but exactly what youโd expect ๐ฝ๐ง ๐คฉ Overall: Leans toward American-style Chinese food. The braised beef short ribs were a standout! Flavors are mild, making it great for those who prefer less spice. Definitely coming back to try the $9.99 Lobster Noodles next time! ๐ฆ #SeattleEats #SeattleFoodReview #SeattleFoodie #SeattleLife #SeattleChineseFood
