Seattle | Eastside Treasure Zoo 🐅 Perfect for Family Outings with Kid
Last week, I visited the hidden gem zoo in East Seattle! It’s the Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah. The zoo is not large, but it’s designed with great attention to detail, making it perfect for family outings and leisure👶 Plus, being on a mountain, the views of the hills and the lake are truly beautiful💯 🎫 Admission: $18 for adults, free for kids under 3,$15 for kids aged 3-12, and $16 for seniors (62 and older) 🦙 Feeding Animals: $2 for a small cup of apples. Make sure to check the map 🗺️ you get at the entrance; only certain animals can be fed. Animals you can feed include elk, ostriches, kangaroos, deer, alpacas, and cranes🦌🦘🦙🦩 🧚🏻♀️ Activities: There are mini lectures at different times each day introducing a particular animal🐾 Every December, there’s a reindeer festival🦌 Occasionally, if a small animal in the zoo has a birthday, there will be a corresponding celebration. When we went, it was a turtle’s🐢 birthday, and there were kid-friendly games to play and prizes to win🥰 🅿️ Free parking at the entrance #Seattle #SeattleLife #SeattleDaily #SeattleWithKids #SeattleWeekend #SeattleTravel #Zoo #SeattleSurroundings #LittleFriendsOuting
