Seattle | Franklin Falls Trail (Thawed Edition)

🌟For over a month, my weekends have been spent at home, so it was a rare treat when a friend invited me to Franklin Falls Trail. I heard the ice waterfall wasn’t frozen, but I decided to go check it out anyway. 🌟We parked at the Snoqualmie snowfield parking lot, and the route to the ice waterfall was a bit wild. Half the time, we were walking on a road covered in thick snow. It was my first time hiking in the snow, equipped with ice cleats but without snowshoes. I have to say, walking in the snow is much harder than on dry ground, and even following in the solid footsteps of those ahead, I still found myself sinking into snow pits now and then. 🌟Finally, we reached the trail and saw the stream in the woods and the red house. At the end, the so-called ice waterfall was not frozen at all. My friend said that a few months ago, the area around the waterfall was all ice, but now there’s only snow. #Seattle #USA #SeattleLife #HikingTrailRecommendations #MyHikingDiary #DayTrips #OutdoorHiking #Waterfall #Snow
