Seattle | Grappa ~ Brunch Outshines the Main Course
š Grappa 2 W Boston St, Seattle, WA 98109, United States š„°I've visited Grappa twice. The first time, I originally wanted to try their paella, only to find out it's only available after 2āÆPM on weekendsāmornings and early afternoons are all about brunch. Since I was already there, I decided to give the brunch a try. I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast, the Mediterranean Breakfast Platter, and a Turkish Coffee. š„°The Turkish coffee, priced at $6, was just a couple of sips but came with a refreshing mint soda to cleanse the palate, and the presentation was beautiful. The Mediterranean breakfast was decentāthe flatbread wasnāt too hard, and the flavors were balanced. š„°On my second visit, I tried the Pesto Pasta, Paella, and Seafood Risotto. Only the seafood risotto stood out as quite good; the others were just average. If I return, Iāll stick to their brunch menu. ⨠Why Brunch Wins Here: Creative, well-presented dishes with thoughtful touches (like the mint soda pairing) Cozy, sunlit atmosphere perfect for a relaxed morning or early afternoon Portions are satisfying without being overwhelming š³ Brunch Recommendations: Cinnamon French Toast: Fluffy, aromatic, and not overly sweet Turkish Coffee Experience: Small but ritualistic and visually charming Mediterranean Platter: A solid savory option with fresh ingredients š„ Dinner Note: While the seafood risotto is worth trying, the pesto pasta and paella didnāt leave a strong impression. If youāre craving Mediterranean flavors for dinner, you might explore other dedicated options in the area. Grappa feels like two different restaurants in oneāa bright, inventive brunch spot by day and a more conventional dinner venue by night. For now, #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlefood#foodguide#Grappa
