Seattle | Half-Day Trip to Edmonds
The weather in Seattle has been absolutely gorgeous lately—perfect for a short getaway! Just a 30-minute drive from downtown Seattle, Edmonds is ideal for a relaxing half-day of eating and exploring. 📍 The Market Came for their famous 🦞 Lobster Roll! The bread is crispy outside and soft inside, stuffed with generous chunks of tender lobster (though a bit heavy on the butter). Paired with freshly fried fries, it’s incredibly satisfying! Opened in 2018, the shop is best known for its fish & chips, chowder, and this lobster roll. You can choose between raw or cooked lobster—I went for the cooked full-size roll (~$39). 📍 Teri’s Toybox 🎁 Just a short walk away, this adorable toy store will instantly charm you! I discovered a whole section of Jellycat plushies in the corner—unbearably soft and cute! 🥹 📍 Seaside Stroll 🌤️ Don’t miss Edmonds’ beautiful waterfront! Walk along the main street (lined with restaurants, art galleries, and handmade jewelry shops) until you reach the beach. A breezy stroll here is perfect for digesting after a meal. #SeattleDayTrip #EdmondsWA #LobsterRoll #Jellycat #SeasideVibes#Seattle#trip diary#Seattle life
