Seattle | Hidden Gem Trail: Ebey’s Landing, Whidbey Island

This trail on Whidbey Island is absolutely stunning! You definitely shouldn’t miss it this summer! 😍 Turquoise blue seas 🌊, golden and green meadows 🌳, flower-covered cliffs ⛰️, and the distant snow-capped peaks of Olympic National Park 🏔️—whether you’re strolling through the grasslands overlooking the ocean or walking along the sandy beach, the views are unforgettable. 🌟 Travel Tips 🌟 🚢 Ferry Navigate to Mukilteo Ferry Ramp to take the ferry. We arrived around 10:30 AM on a Saturday. Although there was a line, we only had to wait 15 minutes to board the next ferry. The ride itself is quick, taking about 15 minutes to reach the island. 🅿️ Parking Spots After getting off the ferry, navigate to one of these two parking locations: 1️⃣ Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve Visitor Center A small parking lot. From here, you can walk through the meadows to the beach, passing by The Ebey Blockhouse and the Jacob Ebey House. 2️⃣ 57RR+XH Coupeville Street parking near the beach. If you want to save time and energy, this spot is more convenient. 🥾 Trail Route For a detailed route, refer to Figure 16. The map includes the trail path, parking spots, and photo locations. 🏷️ Recommended Route: If you have the energy, we recommend doing the full loop. The trail is mostly flat and comfortable for walking. 🏷️ Shorter Route: If the full loop seems too long, you can hike up to the photo spot shown in Figure 5 (the map cover shot) and then turn back. #Seattle #SeattleLife #SeattleArea #SeattleWeekend #SeattleTravel #SeattleHiking #SeattleDaily
