Seattle | Italian Cuisine with a Romantic Date Night Vibe

This is an Italian restaurant in Ballard that I stumbled upon by chance. As soon as I walked in and saw the manager, owner, and waitstaff were all Italiano 🤌🤌, I knew the food was going to be delicious. In the evening, there’s even a performance with an accordion and piano, and the decor is very old fashion. The seats by the window are great for taking photos (just how photogenic they are, see my next post). Each table has candles, and the flickering candlelight creates a very romantic atmosphere. It’s perfect for a girls’ night out or a date. 🌟 My top recommendation is their Calamari Siciliano - Sicilian style squid in a tangy soup. It’s truly impressive. The squid is super fresh, paired with cherry tomatoes and two types of marinated olives, with the flavors of garlic and capers adding layers of taste. What’s most remarkable is that I could taste the ‘wok hei’ in it. 🌟We also ordered braised lamb shank, pizza, and a fig and cheese salad.
