Seattle | Japanese BBQ Itadaki โ Honest Review ๐ฅฉ๐ฅ
As a serious BBQ lover, I finally visited Itadaki, the Japanese BBQ spot I'd been eyeing for months. Though initially drawn by their SRW menu, we decided to go all out and order ร la carte. The experience, however, was... let's just say, not what we hoped for. ๐ฎโ๐จ ๐ 1. Late Seating We arrived at 7:58 PM for our 8:00 PM reservation but werenโt seated until nearly 8:15 PM โ not the warmest welcome. ๐ท 2. Drink & Service Delays One of our drinks never came โ we only found out it was sold out after asking ๐ฅน. Though they later offered a complimentary drink, it didnโt arrive until 9:05 PMโฆ and our food still hadnโt shown up. ๐ฅ 3. Inconsistent Service & Grilling Tables that arrived after us were served faster ๐ฎโ๐จ They offer table-side grilling, but staff kept rotating โ leaving us waiting endlessly. We got so hungry we started grilling ourselves ๐ โ only then did someone return to help. ๐ฅฉ Meat Quality: Okay, but not outstanding ๐ฎ Vibe & Decor: Stylish and atmospheric ๐ธ Price: On the expensive side โฑ๏ธ Pacing & Organization: Slow and chaotic ๐ฏ Silver Lining: The complimentary honey yuzu tea was lovely! Final Rating: 3/5 A disappointing experience overall โ not worth the hype or price for us. Next time, weโll stick with trusty Ishoni โ consistent quality, great service, and you leave full and happy! Helping you make informed choices โ sometimes popular spots donโt live up to expectations. ๐ #SeattleBBQ #SeattleEats #ItadakiReview #JapaneseBBQ #SeattleFoodie #HonestReview #NotWorthTheHype
