Seattle | Lantern Festival Sharing 💛🧡✨
Finally made it to the Lantern Festival in my fourth year in Seattle. It was quite crowded with music playing and a great atmosphere. 🙂 🔸 About Taking Photos We went as a group of three, an invincible combination! One person shoots, one person lights, and one person focuses on looking beautiful. The brightness of the phone’s flashlight on the lowest setting is enough, just make sure it’s close to the phone taking the photo. I suggest using portrait mode; it really makes for great shots. 🔸 About Your OOTD There might be a significant temperature drop, so it gets cold after the sun sets. I’d recommend dressing warmly. I strongly suggest wearing light-colored tops; they stand out against the dark background and match well with the warm tone of the lanterns. 🙂 🔸 About Tickets & Event Search for “water lantern festival” online to buy tickets from the official website. They offer early bird tickets and regular tickets, so check ahead. With a ticket, you can pick up a package at the white tent in the park. You can also enter the site and line up at food trucks without a ticket (not recommended). 🙂 🔸 About the Lanterns Try to finish decorating your lantern before it gets dark. Make sure not to lose the four small sticks that support the lantern; they’re very important! 🚨 If you stay late like us, you can capture so many beautiful lanterns ✨✨✨ Overall, the experience was pretty good. On our way out, we saw the staff cleaning up the trash. 🕔 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm #SeattleLanternFestival #LanternFestival #SeattleLife #Sharing #Photography #Stars #Portrait
