Seattle | Private Museum Frye Art Museum 🎨

One of my favorite pastimes while living in Europe was visiting art galleries/museums/exhibitions. It’s such a shame that after moving to Seattle, there hasn’t been much to see 🥲 I was pleasantly surprised to discover this private museum in Seattle’s First Hill 🏛️. Although the museum is quite small, with only two exhibition halls open, it’s enough to explore for 1-2 hours. Plus, there’s a rotation of different exhibits each time. The best part is ⚠️ it’s free admission!! It’s a great place to visit on a rainy Seattle day 🥰 The current exhibition of Katherine Bradford’s work is quite interesting. I particularly enjoy the colors this elderly lady artist uses in her modern pieces. With simple outlines, she sometimes uses bold contrasting colors, and at other times, she expresses the relationship between people and objects using a single color scheme.
