Seattle | Romantic Seaside Restaurant
📍 Ray's Boathouse A longtime iconic spot in Seattle (though as an outdoorsy person, I’m a bit out of the loop on the city’s food scene 🤔). 🍴 Chose this place randomly for sunset views, and ended up completely blown away by the stunning vista! 🌇 Reservations are not accepted for the outdoor deck—it’s walk-in only. We arrived at 8:45 PM and waited about 20 minutes for an outdoor table. Highly recommend timing your visit around sunset and waiting for a deck spot! 🐟 The food was decent but pricey: Appetizer: Fried Oyster (topped with fried oysters, served over charcoal-grilled pork belly—a unique combo 🤔). Main courses: Housemade Mushroom Tagliatelle (wide noodles with rich mushroom flavor, okay) and Applewood Grilled Sake Kasu. 🌟 Overall: Views: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (breathtaking!) Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (solid but not extraordinary) 📷 The photo opportunities are incredible—don’t forget your camera! (I left mine behind and couldn’t capture the post-sunset beauty or the new moon 🤷♀️—major regret.) 🍹 Perfect for: Romantic dates, anniversary celebrations, and birthday gatherings with friends. #SeattleDining #RaysBoathouse #SunsetViews #SeattleFood #RomanticSpots#travel guide#Seattle#Seattle life
