📍 Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings (SoDo location) This place specializes in Nashville-style spicy fried chicken — and it really delivers! Fried chicken lovers and spice enthusiasts definitely need to give it a try! 🍔 Burger: I went with the Angry Hot spice level — and it truly lives up to its name! The first couple of bites were tasty, then the heat suddenly kicked in and burned all the way down — but honestly, the flavor was really good. 🐔 Wings: They’re noticeably larger and meatier than Popeyes, and the coating isn’t the super-hard crispy type — more of a tender, flaky crunch. Though I have to admit, I ate them after they’d cooled down a bit — fresh out of the fryer would have been next-level. 🍟 Loaded Fries: These were my favorite — crispy waffle fries topped with generous chunks of fried chicken breast. A whole box is seriously filling. ✨ Hangry Sauce: The star of the show! It’s sweet-spicy with a rich, savory depth — goes perfectly with fries or chicken. I’d call it the soul of the meal. We also ordered the Chicken Sando with Hot spice (not the highest level, but still seriously spicy 🔥) — and it really packed a punch.
