Seattle | The charm of the bustling bistro every night 🍷

I pass by every day but had never tried it. One evening, I saw it packed with people on my walk! Out of curiosity, I pushed the door open and was completely amazed 😮 Average cost: $90 🛏️ 1️⃣ Seven Spice Shrimp - $23 🛏️ The shrimp 🦐 is incredibly tender, with each bite offering a springy texture and sweet freshness. Perfectly fried with a slightly crispy exterior and juicy inside, the highlight for me was the fried shrimp heads, crispy to the extreme with a satisfying “crunch”. The flavor is locked in, making it a perfect beer snack 🍻. Just remember, it’s best enjoyed hot; it’s a completely different experience when cold. 2️⃣ Bacon Lemon Scallops - $29.75 🛏️ Super tender scallops 🐚 wrapped in smoky bacon 🥓, seared to golden perfection. The salty bacon complements the sweet scallops beautifully! The lemon lime kale at the bottom is a stunner ✨, tangy and refreshing with no bitterness, I’d order it alone for three plates. 3️⃣ Roasted Pork Belly - $21 🛏️ The crispy skin is explosive, paired with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce that cuts through the richness. The golden potato garlic puree and celery root puree beneath are creamy and smooth, adding layers of texture. But this dish is best enjoyed with a drink 🥃, as it’s a bit salty and the pork belly is a bit fatty for my taste. 4️⃣ Malbec Demi-Glazed PNW Beef Short Ribs - $39.5 🛏️ The beef short ribs are as tender as if they’ve been stewed for a day and a night, melting in the mouth! The red wine sauce is rich and thick, with a touch of sweetness, perfectly coating every strand of beef. 5️⃣ Pear, Gorgonzola, Caramelized Onions & Cilantro Pesto - $17.5 🛏️ The thin crust is crispy on the outside and soft inside 🍕. Both recommendations are delicious. The sweet pear 🍐, the rich blue cheese 🧀, the caramelized onion 🧅, and the fresh cilantro pesto create a sweet and savory explosion, with layers of flavor that are out of this world! 🍨🍧 1️⃣ Lemon Curd Ricotta Cake on Lavender Crust - $14 🛏️ 💣 The combination of lavender and lemon curd cheesecake sounds dreamy, but it was too sweet for my taste. 2️⃣ Bourbon Sauced Bread Pudding (Maker’s Mark) - $14.5 🛏️ Made with freshly baked Challah bread, the texture is dense and moist, filled with the aroma of eggs and milk. Paired with a hint of whiskey 🥃 and the sweetness of caramel, it’s a burst of flavors in every bite. #food #Seattle #SeattleEats #SeattleLife #SeattleWeekend #SeattleFoodExploration
