Seattle | The King of Value! Shiro’s Sushi

🌟Shiro’s Sushi is a restaurant opened by a disciple of the sushi master, and you can see a huge poster of the sushi god as soon as you walk in. Even though the ownership has changed in recent years, the quality remains top-notch. I dare say, out of all the Japanese restaurants I’ve eaten at, this one is the cheapest (including street-side shops) and offers the best quality at this price point! 🌟The restaurant offers sushi bar omakase and table omakase. The table omakase is very easy to book; we booked it the same day at lunch with no issues. 🌟The price for table omakase is 💰85 per person, for 19 pieces. That’s an average of only 4.5🔪 per piece! You can enjoy four different types of tuna, sea urchin, and I think it’s a steal! Moreover, the quality of the fish is excellent, with the sea urchin being sweet and fresh. The additional prices, except for the sea urchin, are also in the single digits. Most affordable Japanese restaurants charge 8-10 dollars or even more for a single piece, but here the fish is fresher, the variety is greater, the flavors are more interesting, and the prices are cheaper. 🌟In addition to omakase, the restaurant also has an a la carte menu. We ordered a grilled fish recommended by the New York Times, a chawanmushi, and a matcha dessert from the menu. I highly recommend everyone to try that grilled fish! I forgot the name, but it’s marked as ‘New York Times recommended’ on the menu – it’s super delicious and tender, melts in your mouth! 🌟I recommend everyone to give it a try! The leftover sea urchin roe chawanmushi is also very good, but I think many restaurants can achieve a similar taste. The matcha dessert was loved by my friend, but I personally found it too sweet and a bit cloying, so I don’t recommend it. 🌟In summary, Shiro’s Sushi is the best value for money restaurant I’ve eaten at in the U.S. so far. The quality and service are both excellent. I recommend everyone to give it a try! #omakase #Seattle #SeattleOmakase #SeattleFoodExploration #SeattleJapaneseCuisine #SushiGod #SeattleFood #SeattleLife #BostonFood #JapaneseCuisine #IAmAFoodie
