Seattle | The Space Needle Is Not a TV Tower
š¼ The Space Needle was designed for the 1962 Worldās Fair. Along with the Monorail, it embodies the futuristic dreams of the time. It still looks super cool, especially when the elevator zips up. Thereās a revolving level up top with a nicely designed lounge. Iām powerless against this kind of over-the-top futurism. Itās now on my Seattle top 1 list. āļø Storyville Coffee, in the bustling Pike Place Market, I found a place to sit and enjoy the view, which was a pleasant surprise (any purchase comes with a free coffee, and new users get a free mug - such a great deal! Plus, their beans are incredibly aromatic, my luggage was filled with thatš« fragrance. Itās the kind of place Iād want to buy more beans from when I get back to LA.) š„ļø Argosy Cruises offers a boat tour to see the cityās architecture and skyline. The ticket is included in the City Pass. Itās a great way to relax on the boat with two routes to choose from. š Hyatt Regency Seattle ā ļø Seattleās summer sunset is quite late, so you can plan your timing accordingly. 3-Day Seattle Itinerary: D1: Pike Place Market - Seattle Great Wheel - The First Starbucks - Seattle Central Library - Starbucks Reserve Roastery - Dinner at Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar - Kerry Park sunset - Space Needle night view D2: Mt Rainer - Mount Rainier National Park D3: Chihuly Garden and Glass - Pop Culture Museum - Monorail - Din Tai Fung - Argosy Cruises - Amazon Spheres #Seattle #SpaceNeedle #PikePlaceMarket #KerryPark #ChihulyGarden #SeattleCoffee #SeattleFood #SeattleExploration #SeattlePhotography #SeattleTravel
